Investigation Station is an interactive museum in Pasco County that consists of permanent community exhibits for the purpose of engaging children in positive, educational, hands-on experiences.
Investigation Station was founded as a 501c3 non-profit in 2005. Their volunteers work with local businesses and individuals to create hands-on, learning opportunities.
There is From the Sun to Pluto, a one-mile scaled model of the solar system. With beautifully designed artwork by Land 'O Lakes artist Gordon Engebretson, solar system facts provided by NASA, and encouragement to utilize a calculator to figure your actual weight on each planet, this outdoor exhibit is sure to engage all ages! Located in JB Starkey Wilderness Park at 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd., New Port Richey.
Kidstruction is a mobile STEM exhibit that travels around the Pasco County Library System and consists of 100's of Keva planks, construction ideas, a wrecking ball and catapult for children to create, destroy and create again.
The Investigation Station volunteers have been working OVERTIME on the construction of the Veterans Memorial Park Water Cycle Splash Pad as an additional educational community resource that is family-friendly & fun!
In order to assist in their volunteer efforts towards raising awareness of their worthy mission in the community AND to assist with the completion of the Water Cycle Splash Pad construction with the purchase & installation of a specialized water filtration system, The Benevolution Foundation Inc. INVITED their team to JOIN IN the Tampa Bay Good Deeds Day Festival fun!
